This is another commissioned piece I’m working on, his name is Mick – his portrait is on a nice traditionally wrapped & tucked 8″ x 10″ canvas.
I’ll begin painting all three portraits as soon as I can – I must have brought a stomach bug home from my trip, it hit hard yesterday afternoon and I’m still taking it easy today. I’d like to have these done by the end of the weekend.

He looks like a real friendly fella! Hope your bug ups and flys away soon! :meow:
I love his eyes, awwww. :pleasantry:
What do you use to draw the “creatures”… charcoal, pencil, ??
You do “creatures” really really well… we can see their personalities, or at least the personalities we ‘think’ they are… you know, since we don’t personally know them.
Leanne you are so talented. Did you have a good time? I hope you feel better soon. :friends:
:good: Leanne do you draw on paper first then transfer to the canvas or do you draw directly on the canvas?
Such friendly looking pup!!
:cheerful:
What a smoochable pooch! Thanks for the eye candy. :cheerful:
He looks just like my Oliver! So sweet and friendly and huggable. Beautiful as always Leanne. Feel better soon. Hugs, clara
I’ve been browsing through your galleries again. I love the way you’re able to put so much personality into these paintings.
I hadn’t yet seen the picture of the meercat that you mentioned on my blog! Thanks for linking to it!
Hope you feel better soon. I’m home sick also and restless as all get out.
