In case you’re wondering what he’s missing, it’s whiskers. That’s always that “one thing missing” until it’s finished, since it’s the last thing I do. He still has a few layers of fur to go before he gets whiskers.

It makes me want to just reach out and touch him. He looks so soft and velvety. Good job so far, Leanne. Of course, I would think it was done already, but I don’t know much about painting.
Mick is soooo cute already! You really capture the personality & essence, even in the underpainting. :lovestruck:
Mick and my Oliver would be great friends! He’s sweet Leanne. Hope you are having a good day! Hugs, clara
I found just the sketch to have so much in it and now that you have added color it only gets better! So cute and so nice. I find this a petable puppy! :meow:
This is really good! Before I read the post I thought it was an actual picture–even without the whiskers.
I love it! And I never noticed the whiskers not being there. 😉
Wonderful. And is the news of your exhibition!
Looking good Leanne! :beret: Love those sad eyes. I think he needs to be petted and a doggy treat. :giggle:
