Whoohoo! I am so excited!!
The other day, I ordered this.
Today, it arrived.
I just set it up and ran my first test print.
Guess what? Soon, very soon, I will be offering the finest. prints. ever. This thing is AMAZING. I will definitely let you know when I’ve got my print offerings ready for viewing and purchase! Just know that some of your favorite pieces will be available in LARGE SIZES. ie. that Lion painting you all loved? (Me too!) I will be offering it in 12×16!!!! Oh yea. Antoinette, remember the Viola? Yep, her too. Also, Homecoming will be available in a 12×12 print. OH there are SO MANY THINGS I need to prepare!!
This is just awesome. I couldn’t be more thrilled!!!

New toys are GREAT! I cannot wait for my paper order to arrive!!! (Special high tech stuff always has to be ordered out. argh!)

I upgraded and have a new spam eliminator. I’m hoping it works as well as the secret code, and that everyone who hated commenting before because of it STARTS COMMENTING! (hint hint!)

Whoooo! That’s Fancy!!! 😀 I’m in the market for a new printer too! Is this one better than the Epson 2200? Can you make canvas prints on it too? I see it’s cheaper than that one 😀
Hey Carrie (Tigerpixie)! I couldn’t tell you if it’s better than the 2200 in quality. I read the reviews and those who reviewed it seem to think it’s better than the Epson as far as speed goes, but I don’t recall anything mentioned about a difference in quality. I will try a canvas print and see how it turns out – and update again when I print the Lion at 12×16. I’m so anxious to hang that bad boy in my house!
Canvas prints – that’d be a big “nope”, unless Canon has a specialty canvas paper out there meant for this printer. I tried a canvas sheet and blech. No good. 😕
Well Poo 😕 Looks like I’ll be sticking with the Epson then. Thanks for letting me know.
I’m going to try to find some meant-for-inkjet canvas paper and try again. I will let you know!
