This lovely little Jingle Bell hopped right off the tree, onto some aluminum foil and posed for me. How ’bout that. Good thing, too, because I was having a hard time choosing my next ornament! Some of my ornaments have character, sentiment and background, some are just what they are. I love jingle bells and I love the sound of jingle bell wreaths. Last year, we opted for a little bitty tree since hubby was in Iraq, leaving all of our traditional things in the attic for the season because they kinda made us sad to think about ’em. The girls chose our midget tree, which was adorable, they chose a string of lights, and two sets of ornaments. I had some influence over the jingle bells, I must admit.
Now, here’s my annual Make-a-Flake plug, because it’s fun.

:sing:You’re photos are beautiful Leanne! Thanks for sharing! I’m up again for Thurs 13…thanks for letting me play…it was/is fun!! Gets those creative juices flowing again!! Happy decorating!
I love your eye, Leanne. The shadows and brilliance are in perfect contrast in this picture.
Now that has got to be the most beautiful depiction of aluminum foil I have ever seen! Gotta love when Jingle Bells get up and pose!
What a beautiful photo. Thank you.
Just stopping by to say I suck at the make a flake thingy. Seriously.
Great photo. I need to do mine…
i love the silver and gold of the season. my youngest loves making those snowflakes.
Okay…my kids have been doing this snowflake thing ALLLLL DAY!! Great snow day activity thanks!! He’s making better ones than me!
I’m glad you’re all enjoying the snowflake maker, there are some pretty ones in their gallery!
Thank you for the compliments on this photo, I chose it because of it’s photographic qualities, not the ornamental ones. :cheerful:
I’m still trying to decide which ornament will get the spotlight tomorrow!
That really does look beautiful. You might be onto something!
I have a flake now, too!
Your artist’s eye makes the season even more beautiful.
The bell on foil picture is fantastic, Leanne. Handling a flash with something as reflective as aluminum is tricky at best. Great work.
Thanks, Utenzi! I actually don’t use flash unless absolutely necessary. This one is in natural daylight in my studio – which is flooded with light from the north. Perfect for photography.
