5. It’s been interesting to see how the girls occupy their time with very limited television. They’re really creative girls, and love their Littlest Pet Shop playhouse and critters. Seriously, who wouldn’t love these little things? They’re adorable.
7. And also getting the skinny on a house we adore to figure out if we really, really want to bid on it. It’s amazing. Well, it could be amazing. It needs a lot of work. We like work.
8. I had another version of this week’s 13 written lastnight, but it will remain unpublished. Feels good to have gotten it out of my head though, and it was funny, in an “effed up” stalker-y kind of way.
9. I had another dream lastnight that I remember well enough to blog in my dream blog, but really, it was about shingles and diarrhea. People were sick, and it was smelly! Yes I remember smells from my dream. Kinda smelled like my front yard, but that’s another story for after we move far, far away. Anyway, I’ll spare everyone the dream and hope for a better dream tonight.
10. We’ve had rain, rain and more rain here over the last couple of weeks. The other day, I was determined to mow the front yard – it was long and thick – and my mower about died trying to cut it. Also, while I was cutting the grass? Torrential downpour, three rows to go. Ugh.
11. I haven’t had to water my glorious floral landscaping in a week. There’s one great thing about all the rain! I love how fresh flowers look after a nice rain.
12. I am having a hard time thinking that one of the rooms in our home is going to be white for a few more days. I cannot. stand. white. walls. I am tempted to throw some food coloring into the joint compound. It works, trust me, I’ve done it before.
13. I am still trying to find a floor. If you run across a nice one, wrap it up and send it my way, would you? What the heck. Carpet or Hardwood? Linoleum layered hardwood looking plank stuff, or vinyl? I am so ready to just chuck the decision making out the window and buy some peel & stick – you know?

I watch Grey’s Anatomy for the boy, Patrick Dempsey could be my McDreamy too! That House guy is mean…mean, sexy man? I’m confused. Have fun with your house hunting even if its not in CO…not everyone can live here where we have 300 days of sunshine a year. Rain? What’s that? Please send some…we are about 3 inches below for the spring so far. I can already see the water restrictions. We just ordered our carpet. Its cool, but I’m sorry I didn’t know you needed any. We also got a great deal on some pine wood flooring that had been special ordered and returned. Sorry, I don’t think I’ll have extra of that either. You can come see it if you like. Hugs, clara
Nice Blog!!! I HATE White walls too:) We have mexican tile in the house and carpet in the bedrooms– when the carpet goes we are putting in solid wood flooring. I do not like carpet iun Florida, too much sand, bugs, and mildew 🙂 :wave:
I just saw my first bamboo floor. It was kinda cool. Perhaps look at that?
What would we do without ‘the boys’ ? :cheerful: Good luck with the house, hubby started redoing the downstairs bathroom in January. All he finished was installing the tub. Take care of yourself.

LPS – O.M.G. My 10 year old is a fanatic about them. There has to be a good 75 laying around here – between all 3 older girls, and #4 has a couple too. Many duplicates. For Easter, I got my oldest the butterfly/caterpillar and the skunk and ?. I can’t even keep track. We walked into CVS last weekend and they had 4 more sets she doesn’t have – she flips out. She was sick, but that didn’t stop her from running over. “MOM!!!” Do you know I found the ferret in Family Dollar for $2 – it was going on eBay for $20+? I bought an extra and sold it for $22. Seriously.
I love working on our house. Just wish we had mucho $$ to do everything we want RIGHT NOW. 😆

I understand about the decision thing when you are either redoing a house or building one. There comes a point where you just will agree to anything just to have it OVER!! :duh:
I dreamt of my sons as little again recently. It’s my favorite kind of dream! I want to see number 8. I’m the curious type…but not a hard worker like you. The work all goes on in my mind.

Oh YES!!! You and me both. I think Dr. Gregory House is just awesome!!!!!! And next week’s finale……….he gets shot?!!! What a cliffhanger that’ll be I’m sure.

#13 Hate to brag, but we have acutally had nice weather all week. My T13 is up too!
Eeek…remodeling. I’ve been in some form of it since November. I hope to be done in June. Good luck with the flooring. I did slate in the common areas, travertine in the bathrooms and I’m working on picking carpet for the bedrooms. Have a great weekend!
We just bought our new furniture for our house yesterday. The couches are a dark camel color with red striped throw pillows, The reading chair for the study is more of a cream color. The walls are a buttery yellow with the red tile fireplace with the dark-stained hardwood window frames. We are leaving the flooring as/is for the moment. Good luck and heck yeah, go for it. :good:

I am pondering the thought of painting our blue playroom white so that I can also do studio work. The thought of a white wall kills me though.
I love love love House too! I was watching the Ellen show one day, and he (Hugh Laurie) was on. My hubby just about poo-ed himself when “Dr. House” spoke in a British accent! It was too funny, because he has watched Black Adder with me at least four times, and he still didn’t realize that He was in that show.
The first three are a must here in my house. I adore House and Hubby has finally gotten hooked on it. I know what it is to have to be thinking of what needs to be done to sell and already looking for what you want. Work work work.

OOHHHH I hate white walls too! We are artists and it drives us nuts. LOL… my husband just wants to throw paint all of the time. LOL… (we rent and can not paint)…. great list! :monkey:

LOL My mom was talking about House today–he plays the dad on Stuart Little! I’m going to see if Season 2 comes out on DVD and then catch up on it before fall season starts.
