the only one i was not expecting was the indigo! pretty!!!!!! i love disposable pallettes!! i use the pallette pad. it’s just so freeing to be able to rip of the page and toss it in the trash when i am done with a painting! how are you today? since it was a birthday weekend i crammed my face full all weekend :brickwall:
but im back with it today!
Sounds like a fun weekend! I’m totally not back with it today! Not one little bit!
Just one little question I have never asked… Why do you think it is called “raw umber” ? I have never thought it smelled any rawer then any other color.
I’ve personally never smelled umber to know what it smells like raw or burnt – so I can’t answer that question. I imagine the intent is to show what it looks like in its raw form, versus after it’s been overcooked. 😉
P.S. I thought sap was more of a burnt sienna color, I wonder why is it green?

I couldn’t even begin to guess. I do love what you use for your palette, though. It makes the best palette, doesn’t it?

Great idea to share the colors you used for flesh. Thx for doing that. :beret:
