I’m not sure exactly how someone could have poked me in the eye without my knowledge, but I’m also not sure how resting blood vessels can spontaneously combust during REM. All I know is that I woke up, took a shower and when I started brushing my teeth I wondered – who punched me in the head?! And then I remembered, I have OLD. You know, that incurable disease where really odd things happen to your body that have no explanation other than that you have OLD. Symptoms include crankiness, irritability, wild mood swings, persistence and righteousness, and then of course wrinkles, graying hair, unexplained bruising and brittle bones.
Yes. I think I’ll blame it on OLD. Unless one of you wants to fess up to sneaking into my house and poking me in the eye while I was sleeping . . .

oh and how’d the shopping go yesterday? maybe one of your new towels fell out of the linen closet and hit you in the face while you were sleeping.

Taba – shopping was good. The towels are fluffy and very linty. Catybug had post-shower towel fuzz. heh. I don’t sleep near the dryer (they were in the wash lastnight). hrmpf. I’ll see your pound and raise you.
All Adither – I didn’t have the energy to snorgle our pets before bed lastnight, I did tickle-tickle Quinnie (our parrot) and said goodnight, but he didn’t peck me. I swear.

That looks like it hurts! That can happen if you stress your eyes, I guess. You should pull back a little on your design…. LOL! NO, I can’t say it!

Oh, you’re not old, don’t worry. What you have is simply a side effect to blogeyeosis, caused by overexposure to the internet. The only cure is a vacation in Hawaii, unfortunately.

This is strange! I don’t want to sound like an alarmist, but I’d get this checked out…never can be too careful around the eyes. Probably nothing, but be safe.
I did make a Dr. appointment, and just canceled it a little while ago – I think it’s starting to fade.
Maybe I poked myself in the eye?!

Can’t even begin to tell you how much I laughed when I read this posting. I am right now with a right arm that is a classic sign of OLD. It is bruised, not much use and I have no idea when it happened. My chiropractor gave it a good working and I am on ice and heat. So not fun getting OLD! 😆
