Weight Watchers Weekly Weigh-in #8!
This marks the end of my 8th week on the Weight Watchers Core plan. What do I have to show for it? A drawer full of pants that are TOO BIG. Not that I’m complaining, of course! Do I wish I could see the difference in the mirror? Absolutely. I can feel the difference in my clothes, but I see the same thing in the mirror – I even see the same numbers in my head when I picture my weight on the scale. Self image is a horrible thing – at this point I’m not sure if a hundred people came up and told me how much weight I’d lost if I would even believe them. It’s strange how our psyche can really be so far off from reality, and I wonder what it is going to take to fix that.
Regardless, I do have something to share this week!
I reached my 10% goal!
Second week: -4.2 lbs.
Third week: -1.6 lbs.
Fourth week: -2.4 lbs.
Fifth week: -.8 lbs.
Sixth week: -2.6 lbs.
Seventh week: -1.2 lbs.
* * Eighth week: -2.2 lbs. * *
Total to date: -19.6 lbs.
And then, then the shopping will commence.

You are one amazing girl 😛
YAY!!!!! Way to go!!
Hey girl, just catching up, finally got moved in and things getting back to some sense of normal. Congrats of the weight loss! You keep inspiring me!
CONGRATS!! :clapping: now send me some of that magic cake!
Yay Leanne! You should be so very proud of yourself!!
Okay, so not only am I envious of your painting and blog design talents, but I’m also envious of your motivation! You are doing SOOOOO awesome! Keep going, girl!
Woo-Hoo! you are doing great. Do you mean you want to lose twenty more pounds?
Eek no – not 20 MORE, just 20 – which actually I’ve already done since Monday. Now my next goal is to “break” into the next set of 10’s, and I’m 3 pounds from that goal. My final “not too skinny, not overweight” weight is 6-12 pounds from now – so I’m almost there!
Lulu – I’m blushing! No need to be envious, though – I’m just a girl on a mission. I think we all get like this when we’re so determined to do something that nothing will stop us, eh? I would love to motivate a lot of people to join me though, instead of feeling guilty that I’m doing well and others struggle. I plan to share more about how I’m doing it, too.
Oh, so now the FUN starts, the shopping!!!! YEEEAAAH!!!
I remember how it was this spring. We cleaned our basement and sold a lot of stuff. For the money we had a shopping raid and that was real fun!
