Just 41 days after planting (more like 39, since I harvested broccoli, spinach and a couple of green peppers on Sunday), we’re eating fresh organic food from our own vegetable garden. From the left in this photo we have tomatoes (against the fence), broccoli, cauliflower, beets, beans, peppers and spinach, and along the garden fencing I’ve got musk melon and cucumbers that are flowering.

YUM!! Your garden looks great! :greenthumb: Many years ago, when D was laid off and we were living in the country (and I mean country!) we had a HUGE (1/2 acre) garden with his parents who we shared some land with. It was some of the hardest work I had ever done….but it was very rewarding!
Enjoy the fruits (or veggies) of your labor!
Broccoli is my girls’ favorite food. That looks so good and healthy!
woohoo! gorgeous! :clapping:
That’s awesome! :clapping:
Cool! All I have some pots of tomato plants and they are still a little small but I look forward to some maters soon. 🙂
I want that broccoli! Mine is still very tiny baby plants right now.
Nice job. Mine looks like hell this year.
Good for you…and good FOR you! We’ve just gotten our first tomato sprout and are so excited at the thought of enjoying fresh off the vine tomatoes. Our raspberries are a long way from being fruitful…but hopefully, someday.
Oh my gosh I’m so jealous of your garden. Mine is teeny tiny (posted pics of it today). And Broccoli, Fresh? MORE jealous. I do have lettuce out there ready to pick TODAY!
Here from Lit and Laundry, I see I’m in good company with the award.
But ah…your blog is amazing, and beautiful and cool. Mine is sad compared.
