I had intended on starting my “Ornament a Day” project today, so I will do that. In addition, I received an amazing photograph in e-mail taken by a dear family friend and coworker of my hubby that I have to share. My hubby does travel (from time to time, ahem.) and this last project has him in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. On top of that, it was Dan’s birthday (Happy Birthday, Dan!), so they went to the Caverns. Dan snapped a shot of my hubby within the caverns that he calls “very Blair Witchy”, and I agree! It’s a great shot. He is an aspiring photographer, with a pretty dang good eye for composition, I’d say.
First, the ornament:
I hate snow. Regardless, (whose blog was it I was reading who has a major pet peeve for the overusage of the non-word “irregardless”, I laughed my butt off at that one while nodding my head! I digress.) it’s pretty, and there you have it.
Now, for the Amateur Photographer Highlight of The Day:
Anyone think he looks like Matthew? Anyone? Just a smidge? Oh shut up. I think so. He’s my Stetson Man, and you can’t have him. Nyah-nyah!

And I love the ornament pic.! It’s so perddiful!
WOW! That’s a pretty awesome shot! It looks like “hubby” finally made it to the moon :good: Or maybe it’s just my eyesite? :zombie: But isn’t that cheese behind him?
I dunno mom, I thought it looked like French Vanilla Cool Whip, but you’ve always had that special eye for the cheese.
:cyclops:
Ooh what about shaving cream! It could be shaving cream – you remember, from Close Encounters.
:slaphappy:
Hmmmmm…I thought it looked like the moon too. :cyclops: Great shot!
The ornament one is a beaut for sure. I love looking through the glass to the snow. Vey nice, my dear.
Love the ornament picture! And the above picture – geez, it looks like a face to the left. 😯 It’s a great shot – and kind of creepy! 😆
Imagine Homer saying “aaahhhhhhh coooool whip…” or “aaahhhhhhhh….mashed poe-tA-toes…….” then imagine drool…… sort of looks like that other face right over Mark’s head….
yeah, your boy does look like your boy matthew!!!
i love the snow, it makes everything so pretty, it’s the having to drive around in it, shovel it, deal with the slop it turns into the i hate.
I love those shots. Gorgeous!
