Finally, as I write the final pages in the journals I’ve been keeping, I realize – I am more affected by the things you didn’t say than the things you did.
You never apologized for MY pain.
You never owned the devastation you caused in MY life. In MY home. You failed to take ownership of that.
And with – or should I say without – that, it is so much easier for me to write “The End” on this story and choose to begin a new one.
I choose love.
I choose honesty.
I choose God.
