Finally. After two weeks worth of wallowing in code to get the design just so – and endless hours of uploading information – typing, moving, pasting, recoding. It’s (almost) done, ready to launch at least. When my hand isn’t so much like a claw, I’ll continue on with some back end tweaking.
What’s going to happen to intricateart.com? Nothing! I’ve owned artistbynature.com for years. I needed a place to design “live” so I knew exactly what was going on, and could transfer files from one to the other. So I decided to double-domain. Once I finish the backend coding and get everything up to spec, I’ll overwrite my layout here at intricateart.com and have them running side by side until things are running smoothly. In case you’re wondering – I did all of that with one installation of wordpress, one theme. My brain needs this extended weekend!
I’ve desparately needed to re-organize my gallery. I offer so many things, and have so much available that it’s just downright hard to find. I do love to have my ducks in a row, and I think this new setup accomplishes that. Clean, professional, one of a kind unique gallery layout, and I’m all ready for some serious clients.

Nice job, Leanne. Looks like you do everything. And do it well, too!! (I don’t know anything about web design, coding, etc. so I can’t rave about specifics… but I’m impressed, if that means anything.) It sounds like this is a “live testing ground” site so I don’t know if this warrents mentioning or not, but I noticed a typo. Custom caracatures…. s/b caricatures…. I think. (I’m a lousy speller.)
Now… if you could figure out a way of bottling up some of your energy to sell, I bet you’d become a billionaire. (Notice how ‘millionaire’ isn’t rich enough any more.)

:good: Leanne, I think the new site is much better for your art and photography. It is much easier to find exactly what you are looking for. I really like the picture with the parrots. I hadn’t realized you had done so many layouts for the blogs and such.. they are all wonderful. My only question is I just don’t get how you accomplish all that you do.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! You outdid yourself (again)! Who could have thought it could get any better? I love the new layout. It is soooo easy to navigate throughout your site.
Great combination of eye candy and use of text. So many artist’s sites have too much of one and not enough of the other! You make it easy for the viewer to see all of your awesome work and the ease in which to purchase prints. I love the ability to search your work by subject matter.
Great lay out! It is not an easy feat by any means! I have seen photography websites that sell prints and nothing has been layed out as great as yours! Bravo girlfriend! You rock! I am so proud of you! :cheerful:
Hi, I got so caught up in looking at your other site earlier that I forgot to come back here and leave a comment. I like the layout a lot, especially the tabs. I could see everything in categories at a glance, and wow, you’ve been BUSY.
