I’ve just completed Elsie’s portrait, although she’s not *officially* done until her mom gives me the thumbs up. Once she loves her painting, I’ll give it a day or two to dry and scan the final detail shots before she heads home.

First to post!!!! Man that portrait doesn’t get any more 3D that is amazing! I also love the red background man, I know it seems to trivial but I had to mention it :yahoo:
I love everything you do, but IMO this is just simply the best! I can’t stop staring at it… the detail is amazing and I could swear she’s going to step out of there any second… It’s now my favorite… and I’m not even a cat person! :good:
I am one of the people who get the honor to see this in person.
I have been around quite a few years and this is one of the best if not
the best piece I have seen my wife do. The features and the presence of
the subject make it come alive.
I agree with Erika the red is a great color for the background and brings out the best in Elsie.
Excellent Job, I know her family will be pleased and hang it in a place of honor.
:good:
Love ya
I love the look in her eyes! It’s so real!
He looks just like our cat, Rico. I posted photos of him today, by the way. I’ll have to put up another photo at some point, where he is posing just like this one. What a beautiful paining! I especially love that warm, reddish background. I also like the way you painted the golden fur on his chest and around his eyes. so realistic!
This is my FAVORITE kitty pic that you’ve done!! Beautiful.
WOW!!! 😮
Need I say more?
Leann –
As Elsie’s mom, I can tell you ‘that’s my girl’. You have brought her to life, this is simply beautiful and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for connecting to her spirit and capturing her essence. For 19 years she was by my side and in my lap, now she will always be with me.
