This fun little girlie-girl sitting atop Twenty-Nothing’s brand new design is my latest completed project, and between Lisa’s brain-full-o-code and my illustrating endeavors, I think it all turned out pretty dang cool! Go on over and say “hey” to Debbie, and let her know how you like her new look.

    Hi, I’m Michele.

Today, I’ll be playing the role of Michele.

I get to recommend a new site for Michele’s blogroll, so I picked someone special.

Inquiring minds also would like some input on NASA, cause their last launch and landing had me nervous.

I’m (as Michele) also curious to know who is to thank for your Awesomeness, so you can answer that question here.

Last but not least, What’s your talent?

Now I’ve done all of this wearing my prettiest shoes, in compliance with the terms of the program. Now I must take my shoes off (nice legs, Michele, I wish I could have borrowed those too. Next time? Okay. Thanks!), and share an illustration that I doodled the other day.

This doodle is for a friend of mine who is going to be famous, I tell you. She writes. And she writes well, and her name is Mir.

You should really go read her blog if you don’t already. She’s already on my blogroll, already on Michele’s, so she has all necessary approvals, I think?

Tell her I said hi, and that her kids are cute!

I’ll be doodling again today, and (crossing my fingers) uploading a couple of others into my Graphic Illustration gallery that you haven’t seen before.

    The Girl Next Door

Not too long ago, Nicole over at The Girl Next Door ordered up some custom blog artwork from E.Webscapes. Well since I’m the resident artist for ’em, I got to work on sketching out her request! She chose a book cover that she really loved and wanted me to do something like it.

After a long while of you thinking I was over here twiddling my thumbs every day and not being creative at all, I finished her artwork and turned it over to Lisa (EW Bosswoman) and she whipped up this sweet three-column design to match! See? Even when it doesn’t look like I’m painting, I really am! (I just wait for the design to go live before I show ya!)

So do me a favor, click, and go visit Nicole and let her know how you like her new digs! She’s excited, I’m excited, it’s all good!

If you’d like to see my other design (I’m new to EW, so I’ve just got two under my belt so far), click on the “E.Webscapes” category and you’ll see the screen shot to my last one. And if you want one? You gotta order it through EW, she’s the boss’a me on these!

    Partnering with E.Webscapes!

It’s official, I’ll be doing artwork for blogs designed by E.Webscapes!

It’s no secret that Lisa (owner, founder and blog guru) and I have been working together on a few projects here in my own blog design, I’ve been painting her critters, and we’ve just gotten along famously.

Her blog and website design biz has just exploded, so much so that she’s just recently hired two new folks to carry some of her load. Now she’s sprucing things up a little more by adding a professional artist (moi!) to be on hand to develop customized art for her clients designs!

If you’re on LJ (LiveJournal) or Blogger, or any other blogging platform out there with an ‘eh’ so-so design, here are a few E.Webscapes resources for you to keep on hand when you decide to put your blog on your website, or just revamp it with a super sweet new layout & design, like mine!

E.Webscapes Design Blog, where I’m formally announced, and Lisa is running a special right now on custom artwork (by me!) as well as hosting specials and LiveJournal deals.

Here’s a list of E.Webscapes services, that includes all this stuff and more: Website Hosting, Website Design, Website Maintenance, Blog Templates/Skins, New Blogger Set Up, Program/Script Install, Software Installation and Upgrades, Site Skinning, Discussion Board Set Up (phpBB, vBulliten, others?), Photo Gallery Set Up (Gallery, Coppermine, more?), Advertising Banners, Custom Logo Design, Custom Graphics, rendered by a professional artist!

Here’s a list of stand-alone items, and here are the package deals for those serious about revamping and moving into something totally one-of-a-kind! Just look at their portfolio – they do amazing things!!

Needless to say, I am very excited about this and know from experience that Lisa and the team at E.Webscapes are in it for the long haul, and their prices just can’t be beat for the outstanding service and functional designs you get.

So there you have it! I’ll link you guys so you can have a look when my artwork is implemented into a design, I am really looking forward to being a part of the blog-design biz!

P.S. I’m still doing my own thing, too! Custom portraits, pets, people, monochromatics, that’s not going to go away, E. Webscapes is an addition to my own services! 🙂
