Life, Love, and Critters – of course!
Good afternoon!
I’m just hanging out today. Scarlett & Sebastian’s portrait is done (signed a little while ago!) so I’ll be doing paperwork and (hopefully) shipping everyone tomorrow once the last little darling has her mom’s blessing.
It’s rainy here, good nappin’ weather I think! C’mon, I can have a day off once in a while can’t I?
Here she is! There may or may not be some revisions, I will show you her scan once she’s dry & has her final approval. 🙂

I’m using the Yahoo connection today, getting a little frustrated with the javacampush thing on my own program. Phooey. So there’s the link, the webcam is ON, right-click/zoom to 200% then down to 100% to see the full view!
I’ll be painting Annie at about 10AM CST!
Just turned the cam off. Here’s the scan of Scarlett & Sebastian, and the underpainting of Annie. I have not refined her eyes or her coat yet, I will finish her tomorrow.
Today’s Annie’s turn on the easel! YAY! She is such a little sweetie pie and I am so excited to paint her!
I am guessing I’ll be painting around 10AM CST. It’s only 6:30AM, I have only had one cup-o-java so far and still have chitlens to care for. (sssh they’re still sleeping!)
So I’ll be working on Annie on Cam, I’m going to go with MY cam and I’ll go ahead and turn it on now even tho I won’t be out in the studio for a couple-a hours yet. Why not? You can gaze upon her cuteness at your leisure!
I had a dream lastnight that “Homecoming” not only sold, but had a bidding war in the last hour! Wouldn’t that be something exciting to watch! You better not be saying “in your dreams, Leanne”, because you have to know by now most of my dreams come true. ;D
Hey! Kiddo #1 is clinging to my arm smiling and saying good morning to me, so I’m going to scoot!

It’s just past 8am, the webcam is on and I will be painting shortly!
I had a couple of other things I keep forgetting to tell you about, too.
First, I uploaded a new page to my website, 2004 : At a glance
The fall months make it increasingly difficult to keep things updated in my galleries. I thought having that whole grouping of paintings all in one place would show browsers all of my paintings just from this year, especially since some of them aren’t even in their appropriate spots yet! After the holidays I will go through and revamp some of my galleries so they make even more sense. 🙂
The other thing, remember Monday (I think?) when I said I was starting my program again? Well ta-da! I’ve been treadmilling and drinking 64 oz. of water a day, and I’m already down 5.5 lbs. See how cool that works? It won’t be long before I’m at my final goal.
Ooh yea, my holiday commission schedule is fully booked now, so if you’re wanting a custom pet portrait as a gift I will still honor my sale price until the 15th but replace the actual painting with a Gift Certificate instead. Sound ok to you?
Painting early today, I’m going to try to finish up these kitties today before my afternoon appointment. Have a great day!!
I finished up Sebastian today and will work on Scarlett tomorrow, then I’ll touch-up Sebastian’s fur highlights.
Heard from Mark today, yay! He’s all moved up to his new location. What a relief.

Veteran’s Day used to be a day to remember our older retired vets who have been there, done that. Over the last couple of years it’s had a different meaning to me personally. Mark is a Veteran now of 3 wars. Beirut-Lebanon, Persian Gulf, and now Iraq. I have to say I have a lot of respect for the guys who have been there, done that, and volunteer to do it again knowing in advance what they’re getting into.
So thanks, to all Veterans and especially my own, for being so brave.
I’m back from my Dr. appointment, back from the pharmacy, and now my schedule next week is filling up with other Dr. appointments. So I will be getting into the painting groove big time the next few days!
I’ll start working on Scarlett & Sebastian again on my Yahoo connection(already up and running).
Yea, in case you’re wondering, I am having hubby withdrawls about now. I haven’t heard from him in over a week now. Forgive me for seeming sullen, I do get pouty when I don’t get to chat with my guy!
