LOL..I am so glad the election is OVER! Now I can have my life back and watch normal TV again!
Whee! I’m rearing to go! Here are the next three pet portraits on my schedule, oooh I can’t wait to get painting tomorrow! I may even work on all three simultaneously. I will let you know in the morning when I’m going to start painting. We’re going to have company so I will be back & forth all day, and I’ll move the webcam back so you can see all three if I do get going on them all. 😀
Just so you know, Tim McGraw will be hanging out with me tomorrow singing everything off his new album, and I think Uncle Kracker will make a guest appearance as well. (Thank you walmart.com!) I’m so lucky! ;P~
I’ve got a couple of paintings to ship yet, too. I will do that Saturday morning since all three (four) of these cute critters will still be drying.

Homecoming is the final title for this painting. The scan is phenominal, and I’ll throw a couple of closeups in here too, the dog tags as well as my sig. Beautiful piece, I’m a proud mama.
I’ll start working on a sweetie of a Calico all curled up. I’ll get her sketched out this afternoon and you can have a look at her tonight before I start painting tomorrow.
I finished it. I don’t know what to call it now. Seems things change every couple of hours around here, so I need to think of a more appropriate title. Strange, normally my paintings “tell me” what their titles/names are while I’m painting. This one has had quite a few since I started it, and none of them fit how I feel about it right now or how I would like others to feel when they look at it.
I’m going to go paint the edges, will scan it tomorrow and post a better image.

Anybody else up all night? Really I wasn’t awake all night long, I fell asleep with the TV on and woke up several times throughout the morning to catch Brit Hume’s “too close to call” monotoned voice.

It would be really nice to see Kerry concede instead of turning into Gore Junior. The majority of America has spoken, the popular vote says it all, doesn’t it? Now they’re showing their true colors by fighting it. They have no respect for a majority of Americans. Anyone surprised?
I will finish this painting today. Name suggestions? Anyone? Ok. I’ll just go with my title then.

The dog tags are going to take a while to paint. I didn’t take a WIP shot lastnight since I’ve got it lying down now and the bottom half was wet. It’ll happen today.
Ok I have one other teenie little thing to do to get my webcam on MY SITE. Yes, that’s right. I’ll update again before I start painting, as I might have that finished and have Miss Cam linked to her new destination. 😉

Happy Day After Election Day!
Today is going to be a long day into a late night being election day and all! I do not anticipate going to bed until well after midnight. Anyone elses nerves in a bundle today? All I want to know is that the future of my husbands tour in Iraq is going to be a safe one and that it ends as scheduled. That the Iraqi people aren’t abandoned halfway through the program by a new person who really doesn’t care. Those are just my two major concerns. 😉

Today just got up and ran away from me. Where on earth?! Even with an extra hour?!
We ran errands, which for some really wierd reason took a good part of the morning and early afternoon. It was so nice out, I decided to really push my luck (with my foot in a normal shoe) and go leafblowing and mowing the yard. Bah! My owie is fine, but my toes! It musta been the walking funny in the regular shoes thing. LOL
Well the front yard is pretty anyway, all spiffy for another frost, and some ssssnnnooowwww. I still have some lovelies blooming in the yard! Wanna see? Ah well you’re going to anyway. 😉

So did I tell ya I got contacts? he! Ok so I’m wearing them all day today (I even got a winky-dink from a fella in a pickup truck! Wee! Thanks buddy, I needed that today!)
