    Out with the old:

    and in with the new:

I always manage to redecorate an entire room in 10 hours or less when I’m under stress. It’s also usually the first thing I turn to when my head is swimming and I need to go off into my own personal lala land for a while. (p.s. The old is the north wall, the new is the south view!)

Does it eliminate the stress? I wish! It did give me a lot of time to figure out how to handle it though, so that’s what I’m gonna do this afternoon.

    I hope you’re having a nice weekend!

i don’t know if you painted the whole room, but i love that new colour, it looks very similiar to the one i have on my walls in my hallway and living room/dining room area. it really pulls the blue from your sofa out.

You did that in 10 hours? All right. You’re coming to my house. I’ve got a bedroom for you to decorate and I hope you are sufficently stressed out so I can get my room done in 10 hours also. :)) and I LOVE the color!!!!

Okay Okay, it wasn’t 10 hours. More like 8. I don’t know. I piddled around clearing the room at around noon – 1pm, I couldn’t tell you when I started priming, but I do know that I stopped painting around 10pm and started putting furniture and “things” back and was done by 11pm’ish. My butt is dragging now though!

I think that I also have a “White wall phobia”. I became increasingly claustrophobic as the trim and walls were covered with high-hiding white primer. I had the jitters in a bad way, so that helped me get the color back on the walls quickly!

Oh, yes, other rooms in our home:
    The girls share this room.
    My bathroom makeover
    My utility room
    Kitchen/Dining

Everything is about to change, though. I’ve got a new color for the bathroom, kitchen and dining rooms!

Ugghhh…I wish I could be you for a couple weeks and get all my painting done! Only took me two weeks to paint my kitchen. Maybe its because I used my daughters 1/2″ brush for along the ceiling and I still ended up with paint on it even after taping it and using that itty bitty brush! I’m ready to paint in the boy’s room Bronco Orange and Blue! The living room, is still white after living here for 2 1/2 yrs. The 19ft ceilings are holding me back. Can you imagine how long that would take me?! I’d be ready for the nursing home before I got that done! After that long I’ve painted only three rooms! So when you come this weekend what color would you like to put on my walls? I’m thinking a sage. I’m kidding, I won’t make you work! Hugs, clara
