    1. Do you own an original painting/piece of artwork?

    2. Would you purchase (another) one?

    3. How much is too much for such a purchase?

I have more questions, they will be based on your replies!

    -Yes I do.
-A zillion and ten. And I’ll be getting another one soon. (I’m doin’ the “Jiggy”)
-Depends on the size of the piece I suppose. And what type of materials were used. If you use oils verses pencil I think you should charge more. If you use something that costs more you should charge a little more.
    That’s my opinion.
    XOXO- Tommi

    Yes I do.
I have four; One by my Aunt, one by an old boyfriend, one by a patient of my Dad’s when he was in a M.A.S.H. unit in the Korean war and the other, I don’t know who did it, but it was my grandma’s. So, I did not pay anything for them.
I would purchase one if it really touched me.
I don’t know how much I would pay. Right now, not much, because there is other stuff I need first. Like, my next goal is a new car, brand spanking new, so…it would be silly to spend a lot on anything else.

“Own” being the operative word, I’m guessing. I have some of my own paintings but I don’t think that is the intent of the question. I can barely say ‘yes’ to this question. I bought a painting done on a piece of throw-away wood for $13. This was a surprise for me because I went two years without any income…so $13 was a precious amount at the time.

    2. Would you purchase (another) one?

    Yes.

    3. How much is too much for such a purchase?

Its all relative. If I shit diamonds out of my ass, I would buy whatever I fancied, which would be a lot. I would even buy something I didn’t like if I thought it would encourage a person to continue creating and I thought they had talent. Based on my income now, $50-100 would be it and it would have to be for something I couldn’t live without.

Yes, I own one and my daughter owns one, both of them yours!
Yes, I would love to have more.
The amount I am willing to pay depends on how bad I want it. Right now, I really want a family vacation. Its been 3 years now since we’ve had one, so I’d have to want it reeeeaaalllly bad. Hugs to you and how’s your back? clara

    Yes we do. Two.
We intend to purchase them to fill our entire home.
We spent $600 on our huge piece in the LR, but I would not want to spend that much for every piece. We’re not rich, after all.

    1. Yes, indeed.
    2. Of course. In fact, I collect nude line drawings and I am always searching small galleries in my travels to add to my collection.
    3. The most I have spent is several thousand. I would easily do it again if I loved the piece.

😯 I will own a Leanne whenever she finishes my gator….Can’t wait to get him.
Yes, I would purchase another Leanne painting. NO price is too high for a real beauty of a painting.

I own several originals in oil that others have done as well as several that I’ve made. I’d definitely buy more. Budget would depent on how much the piece affected me. A practical ceiling of $150 and a lust ceiling of $500.
