I just turned on my webcam (Yahoo cam link) and will be working on the underpainting of the cats tonight! (Right-click zoom to 200% then back to 100% for the full view)
I know you all probably have great Friday night plans, eh? Me, I paint! I am anxious to get the cats base colors blocked in, so off I go! If you’re just hanging out tonight, stop by for a while! 🙂

I’ve roughed in the background colors, pretty rich, eh? It’s a really beautiful red-wine/burgundy color with a warm peach/yellow glow.
I was going to wait until I had talked to Mark again before I started painting, but I’m not sure if he’s already settled in for the night or what. SooooOooOOO…
I started up the cam! I’ll be painting the background, get that finished up and allow it to set up overnight so I can start working on everyone else.
I’m using the Yahoo cam, right click enlarge the view to 200% and then again to 100% to see the whole view. I’ll be shutting the cam down at 1:30PM CST as I have some other things I have to get done, but I will be painting on cam until then today.
My next painting is a biggun’. It’s 18×24, and the composition is incredible. The colors are going to be rich, deep and warm; it is going to be an amazing portrait!!
I’ve just completed the digital layout, merging a few photos together to create the composition. Once the digital layout is approved, I’ll sketch it and post a picture for you to see!
I will be painting this one on cam. You will probably see more of me than the painting since I’ll be using my floor easel, I will try to position the cam good for you!
I’ll probably post the sketch tomorrow sometime, and start painting in the afternoon. I’ll update you in the morning!

I’m just hanging out today. Scarlett & Sebastian’s portrait is done (signed a little while ago!) so I’ll be doing paperwork and (hopefully) shipping everyone tomorrow once the last little darling has her mom’s blessing.
It’s rainy here, good nappin’ weather I think! C’mon, I can have a day off once in a while can’t I?
