  • Excellent Drivers

Two girls. One Jeep. One flat backyard. One frightened dog.

Here we have an excellent driver in the making, I don’t think I’ll be too terribly frightened when it’s time for her to get behind the wheel. She’s taking the whole driving thing pretty seriously huh? I thought so. Our eldest weed appears to be a responsible driver. I’m a happy mom.

    On the other hand….

Watch out for this one! Man she’s an absolute terror. Nicknamed “Mario”, she enjoys putting the pedal to the – er… plastic in this case, she will throw it into reverse and back into things as fast as she runs them over going forward. Holy crap.

I’m already beginning to worry that when she gets ticked off at me she’s going to say “I’m running away!” And pack up her Jeep and leave for good. How did this happen? What went wrong? How did my sweet little “mini me” turn into this devilish-grinned speed demon?

I’ll leave you with this frightening thought. This girl. This sweet little thing I call Chickeymonkey is going to be on the road in 12-14 years. Sigh.

This post made me laugh out loud! My kids mirror their personalities. I think when my younger hits the road (which will be the next 10-11 years, I plan on hiding under my covers until he leaves for college…
