  • Hugs From Santa

    December

    2005

This morning’s photography session is over, and look at this. I could just cry it’s so sweet. I’m picking through the photos I took, filtering them a bit, burning them to CD for the school.

What a neat thing, the backdrop – Santa – the kids amazement – I’m so glad I volunteered for all of this!

I just love that they can celebate with Santa, we have no winter holiday parties or celebrations. Too controversial, I guess. Isn’t that sad? I proposed that we have a party and celebrate with elements from Christmas, Haunakkah, and Kwanzaa. I thought we could play the dreidle game and light candles for Kwanzaa and have food from all of the traditions Of course our principal shot me down. I would love for my children to learn about the other traditions as well, but I guess I will be doing it myself. So anyway Happy Holidays to everyone out there and may you be able to celebrate whatever traditions you wish! :friends:

That is probably the cutest Santa picture that I have ever seen. I hope you know who that kid is so you can get it to the right family. Duh, I am sure you do. What was I thinking?

    Have a great weekend.

WOW! I wish our Santa had that amazing backdrop….as you may notice if you happen by my blog at some point – our Santa has a rather uninspired backdrop consisting of a shed of some sort in the middle of a shopping mall – Oh and our kids are not allowed to sit on Santa’s knee – they have a stupid little chair that sits in front of Santa (can’t see it all that well in the pic so it looks like my daughter is floating – lol)
Beautiful backdrop and awsome pic – really captures the moment. :good:
But I guess I have a pic with my kids seeing Santa and I can’t complain too much as the photo was free and they each got a gift (colouring book, crayons and felt pens – not much use for a 24 week old baby though huh? – lol.)
Thanks for visiting my blog before and of course for signing my map. 🙂
