    Painting on Cam

Why not. I just turned my webcam on, you are free to watch, but if I hear any of you fighting I’m going to turn this thing off and you can go to your room!

(man, I’ve been a mom for a long time.)

    Rural Excitement

Well today has been a moderately productive day. First I’ll give you your eye candy though! This is our pup Chloe, who is so old in doggie years that I need a calculator to figure it out.

She’s a good doggie. Part rott, part shepherd, mostly mushy gushy teddy bear.

Before Mr. left for work this morning we inspected our new growth, like we’ve been doing (somewhat obsessively) since we started planting seeds and actually growing stuff. It’s an exciting thing for us, watching dirt turn green and then running our hands over cottony soft bright green grass. Aaah. We are so easily amused!

The rain last week washed most of our seed into little piles. This past weekend, Mr. roughed up the soil again and we spread more seed. Today we have GRASS! It’s scattered growth, but still. Grass. Green. Grass. YAY US!

We also planted some of those gargantuan sunflowers in the back corner of the yard. This is where my morning surprise occurred today. I was standing there checking out the sunflowers (which have grown to about 2″ tall in 5-7 days), and noticed two squirrelies romping through the neighbors yard playing tag. Or something. Of course I didn’t bring my camera out, do you guys really want to see pictures of sprouting green stuff every day? But I wish I had it. Man. Do I ever.

    New Category.

Well that did it. I created a new category titled “Yahoo Schmucks!”

In this category you will find people you might want to blacklist before they target you, or heck, just point and laugh at the sheer illiteracy of these “men” (using that term reeeealy loosely!). He’s another one who can’t read or doesn’t understand what “VERY HAPPILY MARRIED” means. I refuse to talk to people like this, they’re just gross and probably on some sex offender list somewhere. Iew. So here they’re going to be, in their own category, to expose them for their schmucky behavior. My own little “IM Offender” list!

    Yahoo Schmuck of the evening:

Out of the blue, I get this invitation to view webcam. Nice. Not. 😡

Pending final blessings from his mom of course, but here he is. I’m very pleased with how he turned out. I’ll post the final scan & details after he’s dry.

    Yahoo! MEN. Argh.

Oh the joys of having Yahoo IM. I was going to create a category titled “schmuck of the day”, but that’s harsh. Some of the IM’s I get are really very nice, and I’m sure the guy has potential as far as romance goes, but c’mon. Can’t they read? Here’s my profile on Yahoo. It’s been that way since December of last year, after a plethora of indecent IM’s I had to modify it.

They still don’t read very well. I think I’ll start sharing the IM’s I receive, just in case any of these guys actually read my profile and come here, they’ll know it’s all about painting on cam and business, not flirting with strange men.

guywith_hazeleyes: Sorry to disturb you, I was just browsing thru the member directory and looked at your profile, and think you are a very pretty woman.

Aww. That’s really very sweet, and thank you, guywith_hazeleyes. You didn’t disturb me, but you did irritate my hubby a little bit. I’m not the only one who uses this ‘puter. heh.

intricateartist : I do too!….guess that is why I married her, huh?

Aww, but guywith_hazeleyes, where did you go? You don’t want to chat with my hubby? 🙁

    Silly stuff.

I’m stumbling. Yep, I’m horsing around today. It’s cold, dreary, I re-seeded the areas that washed away, and now I’m sitting here freezing my fingers off, continually clicking stumble. You should try it, it’s fun to do when you just want to pass time seeing stuff you’ve never seen before! (stumbleupon.com)

    Virtual Stan.

    Miniature Golf.

    Have a Kitten break.

    The Polyphonic Spree.

You are driven and excited about new things and like to get stuff done (or at least mostly complete). You're not afraid of bigger, more challenging tasks because you know that the worst thing that could happen still isn't really all that bad. You probably have lots of hobbies already, but trying something new can be fun anyway.

Our Potentially Ridiculous Hobby Suggestion For You:
    Birdwatching
Don't rest until you can identify every kind of bird! This skill is not useful at all, but people do it so it must be interesting.

    Creative 23.36
